Amy was a very happy baby. We moved from Connecticut to Vermont when she was a few weeks old. We moved a
few more times before we bought our home that we still live in to this day.
When Amy was 4, we found out we were going to have another baby. Amy took it ok, until the day we
brought her sister, Jennifer home from the hospital. Amy had to start kindgergarden a few weeks later. For the longest time,
Amy thought she had to go to school because I had a baby. The 2 girls did try to share a room for a while, but it did not
work.
Amy went to a very small local grammer school. In many ways it was great. She made lots of friends and they
all lived close by. No school buses at all for the local school. Junior high was horrible. We all hated it, especially Amy.
I have heard of the term terrible two's, but I think it should have been terrible teen years. Luckily after we changed her
school, she did much better. Very small classes and they let her go at her own pace. She graduated high school 1 1/2 years
early. We are proud that she worked so hard to get through high school. Not easy nowadays.
She is now married to Carl Wayne Billings. They own a duplex. They also have a wonderful little baby boy,
Tyler Douglas! They have made us proud of their accomplishments.
